Toda a produção destas óperas é do Metropolitan de Nova York. E pelo visto,óperas de CARLOS GOMES não são encenadas por lá. Não sei se no passado houve alguma.
São bilionários americanos que mantém o MET e a diretoria tem que agradar aos patrocinadores.
No tempo em que Bidu Sayão cantava por lá, talvez tenha sido cantado ao menos O GUARANI, pois esta ópera de GOMES fazia parte de seu repertório.
